ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR ACCEPT FUNDING FROM YALE UNIVERSITY AND CONSTRUCT A SIDEWALK ON THE NORTH SIDE OF PEARL ST WEST OF ORANGE ST

Whereas, Pearl St west of Orange St is a heavily used pedestrian way; and,
Whereas, there is no sidewalk on the north side; and,
Whereas, Yale University has offered to contribute $50,000 to the construction of the sidewalk; and,
Whereas, the Resource Allocation Committee has approved the installation;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDERED, THAT THE MAYOR IS AUTHORIZED TO INSTALL A SIDEWALK ON THE NORTH SIDE OF PEARL STREET WEST OF ORANGE STREET AND ACCEPT FUNDING FROM YALE UNIVERSITY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SAID SIDEWALK
