RESOLUTION OF NEW HAVEN BOARD OF ALDERS APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE MEDICAL AREA OVERALL PARKING PLAN (“MAOPP”).

WHEREAS, by communication dated September 30, 2019, from Rodney Slaughter CAPP, CPP, Senior Manager, Parking and Transportation for Yale New Haven Hospital, Yale New Haven Hospital (“YNHH”), Yale School of Medicine (“YSM”) and Connecticut Mental Health Center (“CMHC” and, collectively, the “Institutions”) have submitted an amendment to the Medical Area Overall Parking Plan (“MAOPP”) as required by and pursuant to the Order of the New Haven Board of Alders Regarding Formal Approval by the Board of Alders of the MAOPP, which was passed on August 7, 2017 (the “Order”); and
WHEREAS, YNHH has submitted to the Board of Alders a request to amend Planned Development District #45, which encompasses the Saint Raphael Campus (the “PDD Amendment”); and
WHEREAS, the PDD Amendment is a New Entitlement, as defined in the Order; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 65(e)(4) of the New Haven Zoning Ordinance, the PDD Amendment proposes an amendment of the MAOPP; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Order, an annual update of the MAOPP is only required where no amendment to the MAOPP is approved in any given calendar year; and
WHEREAS, the Institutions request that the Board of Alders approve a resolution by unanimous consent approving an amendment to the MAOPP.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the New Haven Board of Alders hereby approves of an amendment to the Medical Area Overall Parking Plan (“MAOPP”)
