ORDER OF THE BOARD OF ALDERS OF THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN TO AUTHORIZE EXECUTION OF THE AGREEMENT WITH CDW GOVERNMENT LLC TO PROVIDE EMAIL SECURITY SOFTWARE SOPHOS LICENSES FROM JANUARY 18, 2024 TO JANUARY 18, 2027 IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $327,880.00.

WHEREAS, the New Haven Board of Education (the “Board”) and Board of Education, CDW Government. (the “Vendor”) are the parties (collectively the “Parties”); and
WHEREAS, the Parties reached a tentative multi-year agreement entitled Agreement with CDW Government for Sophos license, January 18, 2024 to January 18, 2027 (the “2024-2027 Agreement”) in an amount not to exceed $327,880.00; and
WHEREAS, the district staff submitted the Agreement with CDW Government for Sophos License to the Board, which was approved at its January 22, 2024 Board of Education meeting; and
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of New Haven requires the approval of the Board of Alders for any multi-year agreements.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDERED, by the Board of Alders of the City of New Haven that the 2024-2027 Agreement with CDW Government for Sophos license is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER ORDERED, that the President of the Board of Education or the Mayor is authorized to execute the 2024-2027 Agreements as well as such additional instruments as may be deemed necessary or expedient to implement the terms of the 2024-2027.
