ORDER OF THE BOARD OF ALDERS OF THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A MULTI YEAR SHARED ENERGY SAVINGS AGREEMENT BETWEEN CATALYST POWER ASSETCO LLC AND THE NEW HAVEN BOARD OF EDUCATION FOR THE PERIOD OF JULY 1, 2025 TO JUNE 30, 2039.

WHEREAS, the New Haven Board of Education (the “Board”) and Board of Education, Catalyst Power Assetco LLC. (the “Vendor”) are the parties (collectively the “Parties”); and
WHEREAS, the Parties reached an agreement for energy savings agreement with Catalyst Power Assetco LLC, from July 1, 2025 (the “Agreement”); and
WHEREAS, the district staff submitted the Agreement with Catalyst Power Assetco LLC for an energy savings agreement to the Board, which was approved by at a Board of Education meeting in 2024; and
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of New Haven requires the approval of the Board of Alders for non-solicited services agreements in excess of $150,000; and
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of New Haven requires the approval of the Board of Alders for multi-year service agreements.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDERED, by the Board of Alders of the City of New Haven that the Agreement with Catalyst Power Assetco LLC is hereby approved; and
BE IT FURTHER ORDERED by the Board of Alders of the City of New Haven that the President of the Board of Education or the Mayor of the City of New Haven is authorized to execute the Agreement as well as such additional instruments as may be deemed necessary or expedient to implement the terms of the agreement.
