ORDER OF THE BOARD OF ALDERS OF THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A FOUR-YEAR LEASE AGREEMENT WITH DLL FINANCE LLC. FOR CLUB CAR GOLF CARTS AND RELATED SERVICE.

WHEREAS, The City of New Haven owns, manages, and oversees the operation of Alling Memorial Golf Course, a roughly 160-acre property located at 35 Eastern Street; and
WHEREAS, golf cart rentals at the Alling Memorial Golf Course are a major source of revenue to the Golf Course Enterprise Fund and provide an additional amenity to the golf playing public; and
WHEREAS, the City of New Haven, through the Bureau of Purchases; solicited a proposal by way of the Sourcewell #091024-CCR Cooperative Purchase Agreement, and
WHEREAS, DLL Finance LLC and Club Car LLC submitted a proposal for a 4-year golf car lease with 4G Screens and Visage Software at $145,392 annually, and
WHEREAS, the New Haven Parks Department deemed the proposal from DLL Finance LLC to be in conformance with the golf cart specifications as required to provide the best customer service, safety, reliability and overall product quality for the Alling Memorial Golf Course golfer,
WHEREAS, the lease includes 80 new golf carts; and
WHEREAS, Club Car LLC executes their leases through DLL Finance LLC; and
WHEREAS, proposed agreement is incorporated herein by reference; and
WHEREAS, the proposed agreement requires an indemnity clause.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDERED by the Board of Alders that the four-year agreement by and between the City of New Haven and DLL Finance LLC for the lease of 80 golf carts, including the indemnity clause, is hereby approved and the Mayor is authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City of New Haven.
