ORDER OF THE NEW HAVEN BOARD OF ALDERS APPROVING STREET CLOSURES ASSOCIATED WITH THE PLR SHAMROCK & ROLL 5K ON SUNDAY, MARCH 1ST, 2026

WHEREAS, The PLR ShamRock & Roll 5K is to be held in downtown New Haven and shall benefit the Connecticut Diaper Bank; and
WHEREAS, the closure of certain streets throughout the city is necessary for New Haven to successfully host this exciting on-street running event; and
WHEREAS, the following rolling road closures are necessary on Sunday March 1, 2026 from 7:00 AM to 11:30 AM as shown on the accompanying site map; and
WHEREAS, the roads will reopen as the race passes each location; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDERED by the Board of Alders of the City of New Haven that the request for rolling closing of streets as outlined on the accompanying site map is hereby approved; and
BE IT FURTHER ORDERED by the Board of Alders of the City of New Haven that the street closures associated with the PLR Shamrock & Roll 5k on Sunday, March 1st, 2026 is hereby approved.
