ORDER OF THE NEW HAVEN BOARD OF ALDERS AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN (MAYOR OR CONTROLLER) TO ENTER INTO A THREE-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH HYLAND SOFTWARE, INC IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE-HUNDRED AND SIXTEEN THOUSAND, SIX-HUNDRED DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS TO UPGRADE THE SOFTWARE PLATFORM FOR STORING AND PRINTING OF DATA AND DOCUMENTS FOR VITAL STATISTICS.

WHEREAS, Section 2-376 (A) of the Code of General Ordinances, “Unless expressly authorized by law or by vote of the Board of Alders, the city shall not be bound by any contract executed after one (1) year from the date thereof. The Board of Alders’ prior approval is necessary for any city contract that does not go to bid that costs more than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00)”; and
WHEREAS, The City is seeking approval to enter into a three-year agreement with Hyland Software Inc to upgrade the platform for document management and retention for the Vital Statistics office; and,
WHEREAS, The total cost for the three year contract is One Hundred and Sixteen Thousand, Six Hundred Dollars and zero cents ($116,600).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED by the New Haven Board of Alders that the Mayor or Controller be authorized to enter into a three-year agreement with Hyland Software Inc, in a total amount of One Hundred and Sixteen Thousand, Six Hundred Dollars and zero cents ($116,600).
