Body

WHEREAS: Leslie Saldana and Rene Tapia-Rivera had a motor vehicle taxed for 2022, and

 

WHEREAS: This vehicle was taxed in both New Haven and East Have; and

 

WHEREAS: The taxes for this vehicle were paid to East Haven but they remained on the books in New Haven; and

 

WHEREAS: New Haven credited the East Haven payment so Leslie Saldana but did not cor4rect the tax account for Rene Tapia-Rivera, and

 

WHEREAS: Mr. Tapia-Rivera is requesting assistance from the Board of Alders.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED by the New Haven Board of Alders that the taxes, interest and fees for account number 110656 be forgiven.
