WHEREAS, the Thrift 2 Death Flea Market shall be held on March 28, 2026, from 12PM to 4PM; and

 

WHEREAS, the rain date for the event is April 4, 2026; and

 

WHEREAS, this event requires the closure of State Street from East Street to Hine Place and Edwards Street from State Street to Nash Street from 8:45AM to 5PM; and

 

WHEREAS, Hine Place and State Street from Bishop to Hine Place shall be closed to local traffic only; and

 

WHEREAS, Edwards Street from Nash Street to Nicoll Street and Nash Street from Edwards Street to Lawerence Street shall be closed to local traffic only.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED THAT the Board of Alders of the City of New Haven hereby authorizes the street closures of State Street from East Street to Hine Place and Edwards Street from State Street to Nash Street for the Thrift 2 Death Flea Market on Saturday, March 28th, 2026.
