RESOLUTION OF THE NEW HAVEN BOARD OF ALDERS AUTHORIZING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF NEW HAVEN PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO APPLY FOR AND ACCEPT A NON-PRIORITY GRANT FROM THE CONNECTICUT DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES OFFICE OF SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION GRANT REVIEW (CTDAS/OSCGR) FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE SWIMMING POOL AT WILBUR CROSS HIGH SCHOOL AND TO EXECUTE, ACKNOWLEDGE, IMPLEMENT AND DELIVER ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS AS MAY BE CONSIDERED NECESSARY OR APPROPRIATE WITH RESPECT THERETO.

WHEREAS, the Board of Education must replace the swimming pool at Wilbur Cross High School; and
WHEREAS, the Alders of the City of New Haven, authorizes the Board of Education of New Haven Public Schools to apply to the Commissioner of Administrative Services and to accept or reject a grant for the swimming pool replacement project at the Wilbur Cross High School; and
WHEREAS, the Alders of the City of New Haven names its Citywide School Buildings and Stewardship Committee as the building committee with regard to the roof replacement project at Wilbur Cross High School; and
WHEREAS, the Alders of the City of New Haven, hereby authorizes at least the preparation of schematic drawings and outline specifications for the swimming pool replacement project at the Wilbur Cross High School.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ALDERS OF THE CITY OF
NEW HAVEN:
(1) that the Alders of the City of New Haven, authorizes the Board of Education of New Haven Public Schools to apply to the Commissioner of Administrative Services and to accept or reject a grant for the swimming pool replacement project at the Wilbur Cross High School;
(2) that the Alders of the City of Haven names its Citywide School Buildings and Stewardship Committee as the building committee with regard to the swimming pool replacement project at the Wilbur Cross High School; and
