Body

WHEREAS: Mr. Calderwood had an outstanding car tax account from 2019, and

WHEREAS: Mr. Calderwood states that the tax bill was sent to the wrong address, and

WHEREAS: Mr. Calderwood paid the taxes, with the interest, when he finally received notification of this tax bill, and

WHEREAS: Mr. Calderwood is requesting that the interest he paid be refunded due to the original bill be sent to the wrong address. 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDERED by the New Haven Board of Alders that the interest in the amount of $588.61 be refunded.
