ORDER OF THE BOARD OF ALDERS OF THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN TO ENTER INTO A FIVE YEAR LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE GREATER NEW HAVEN TRANSIT DISTRICT FOR THE LICENSE AND USE OF A TELECOMMUNICATIONS FACILITY LOCATED AT EAST ROCK PARK, NEW HAVEN, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $7,200 PER YEAR AND TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS AND CONTRACTS AS NECESSARY.

WHEREAS, New Haven manages a telecommunications facility located at East Rock Park, New Haven, Connecticut; and
WHEREAS, New Haven has an interest in sharing its telecommunications facilities with the Greater New Haven Transit District; and
WHEREAS, The Greater New Haven Transit District has an interest in securing modern, reliable telecommunications facilities in the execution of its duties; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED that the Board of Alders of the City of New Haven hereby authorizes the Mayor of the City of New Haven to enter into a five year lease agreement with the Greater New Haven Transit District for the license and use of a telecommunications facility located at East Rock Park, New Haven, in an amount not to exceed $7,200 per year and to execute all documents and contracts as necessary.
