ORDER CONCERNING REAL PROPERTY TAXES OF LUIS SANTANA ON HIS PROPERTY LOCATED AT 28 REDFIELD STREET, TAX ACCOUNT NUMBER 19832.
Body
WHEREAS: Mr. Santana purchased a sliver lot from the City of New Haven in 2005, and
WHEREAS: The sliver lot was incorrectly valued at $27,720, and the Assessor’s office made a correction of the value by reducing it to $2,772, and
WHEREAS: The Assessor’s office was able to make the tax corrections for Grand List years 2020 through 2022, and
WHEREAS: Mr. Santana had paid the taxes, as billed, for GL 2016 through GL 2018, and
WHEREAS: Mr. Santana is asking for assistance for Grand List years 2016 through 2022.
BE IT ORDERED that all outstanding taxes, interest, and fees due on account number 19832 be forgiven
BE IT FURTHER ORDERED that Mr. Santana be refunded in the amount of $1,319.98 for overpayment of taxes paid.
