Body

WHEREAS: The Elm City Montessori School is a tax-exempt organization, and

WHEREAS: The Elm City Montessori School purchase their building, located at 495 Blake Street, in October 2021, and

WHEREAS: The Elm City Montessori School failed to file the property tax exempt paperwork with the Assessor’s office, and

WHEREAS: The Elm City Montessori School was taxed for the second half of GL 2020 and for the full GL 2021 tax year, and

WHEREAS: The Elm City Montessori School is asking for assistance with these accounts.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDERED by the New Haven Board of Alders that the taxes, fees, and interest for tax account 24119 be forgiven.
