ORDER OF THE NEW HAVEN BOARD OF ALDERS TO READ AND FILE THE COMMUNICATION TITLED “FROM ALDERS SABIN AND ROTH SUBMITTING A REQUEST FOR A WORKSHOP ABOUT LOCAL COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES PLANS TO SAFELY BRING STUDENTS BACK TO NEW HAVEN FOLLOWING THEIR WINTER BREAK AND TO KEEP THEM FROM CONTRACTING OR TRANSMITTING COVID-19 DURING THE SPRING SEMESTER”.

WHEREAS: on 12/14/20 Alders Sabin and Roth submitted to the Board of Alders a request for a workshop about the plans of local colleges and universities to safely bring students back to New Haven following their winter break and to keep them from contracting or transmitting COVID-19 during the spring semester; and
WHEREAS: such a workshop was held on January 28, 2021 at which the members of the Health & Human Services Committee voted affirmatively that this legislative item be read, printed, and filed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED by the Board of Alders that the above-captioned matter shall be read and printed in the Journal of the Board of Alders, and filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
