ORDINANCE AMENDMENT OF THE BOARD OF ALDERS OF THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN UPDATING RALPH WALKER RINK: FEES OF THE NEW HAVEN CODE OF ORDINANCES

WHEREAS, Section 19-20. “Ralph Walker Skating Rink at Blake Field” of the New Haven Code of Ordinances establishes the fees to be charged at the Ice Rink;
WHEREAS, the regular review of these charges is an essential element of the City’s budget process, and;
WHEREAS, the fee increase is necessary to ensure we establish a stable revenue stream for the ongoing maintenance of the Ice Rink to protect our investment and maintain a state of good repair, and;
WHEREAS, a review of area ice rinks demonstrates that with the update we will remain comparable and competitive;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED THAT THE BOARD OF ALDERs OF THE CITY OF NEW HAVEN Amends the new haven general code of ordinances section 17-201 that the amended and new charges provided herein be effective October 1, 2022
