In accordance with our customary procedure, the attached reports referenced below were considered by the City Plan Commission at its meeting of September 17, 2025, and are forwarded to you for your consideration:

 

RE:                     ORDINANCE MAP AMENDMENT to change the zoning designation of that 8.6-acre site of the former English Station Power Plant known as 510Grand Avenue (MBLU 179/0567/00801) and 510 A Grand Avenue (MBLU 179/0567/00802) from a Heavy Industrial (IH) Zone to a Park District.

RE:                     RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF ALDERS authorizing the mayor of the city f New Haven to apply for and accept the sustainable materials management round 2 grant from Connecticut department of energy and environmental protection to implement curbside co-collection of food scraps using uniform collection bags, and to enter into associated agreements in order to accept grant funding and carry out the associated grant program activities.
