WHEREAS, the Board of Education must replace the roof at James Hillhouse School; and

WHEREAS, the Alders of the City of New Haven, authorizes the Board of Education of New Haven Public Schools to apply to the Commissioner of Administrative Services and to accept or reject a grant for the roof replacement project at the James Hillhouse School; and

WHEREAS, the Alders of the City of New Haven names its Citywide School Buildings and Stewardship Committee as the building committee with regard to the roof replacement project at James Hillhouse High School; and

WHEREAS, the Alders of the City of New Haven, hereby authorizes at least the preparation of schematic drawings and outline specifications for the roof replacement project at the James Hillhouse High School.


NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ALDERS OF THE CITY OF
NEW HAVEN:

(1) that the Alders of the City of New Haven, authorizes the Board of Education of New Haven Public Schools to apply to the Commissioner of Administrative Services and to accept or reject a grant for the roof replacement project at the James Hillhouse High School;

(2) that the Alders of the City of Haven names its Citywide School Buildings and Stewardship Committee as the building committee with regard to the roof replacement project at the James Hillhouse High School; and
